This book is incredibly well crafted. The author lays a groundwork for important shifts, rethinking, and reprioritizing to occur in the classroom, the building, and within policy, but never oversimplified the work to “just follow these easy steps!” Thanks to reading this book, I’ve added 5 more suggested titles (she did a great job with citing many other works) to my to-read list and have some work to do in the meantime. This book was thought-provoking, affirming, and well-organized. It’s a must-read for every teacher and education leader.
